Veila is one of the most positive and social dogs that I have ever seen. She loves people even though with her energy she doesn't have much time to stop and let anyone to pet her for long. She's also a pure kiss-machine; she loves to lick people's faces all over again. No matter how many times she has already done it, she'll still be ready to continue. Try to ask her to stop - she won't!
She's quite good at socializing with other dogs aswell. She hasn't gotten into any serious fights yet so far, she's social and really playful with them. Veila's up to running anytime and anywhere but the most fun thing is to fight over a stick or a toy with some other dog. Her best friend seems to be our neighbour's Smooth Collie bitch Milka, they're always playing together and spreading out the toys all over the apartment.
Even if she's really kind and peaceful most of the time, she seems to know how to protect herself and something that's hers only. She's already shown my older girls that she's not the easiest dog to turn fully down so I'm believing that our future in the pack will be pretty interesting.
We haven't been training much with Veila yet, but I like her attitude when doing something with her. If you're being happy yourself she'll remain just as positive and energetic as always. So far the few things we've done with her she's learned quite fast and remembers them well later on aswell. During the following summertime we have been planning to begin the actual obedience training and hopefully in the future get some chances to train agility too - she seems to have quite a lot energy for that.
She's just as playful as I wished her to be. She loves to pull a toy with you and does that every time she gets a chance for it or even offers a toy for you by herself. She's the most playful dog out of my girls and really fun dog to work with. I'm sure I'll have some great time with her in the future overall and I'm expecting a lot - maybe too much? - from her.
She got a strong mind but she does know if she's done something wrong. Still she goes to do the same thing all over again just because.. Because. Typical teenager sees it fun to break the existing rules. Thanks to her my apartment's wall - made of concrete - got a little hole-like damage on it reminding me daily about the behaviour of my dream puppy. But isn't it common saying that the worse dog is at home, the better it is at the training field? Keeping that in mind and counting slowly to ten when something goes wrong.. In the end, she's Veila.
And Veila is simply something more than what I could have ever asked for. Along with Titja, she's The One.
